summer tending & return
NYC dates, things in bloom, same but different
Hi hi,
returning to this little container with some booking announcements, overdue big updates, things I’ve been up to, etc.
Some business things up front~ I’m coming to NYC and booking July 5-8! Excited to be guesting at the lovely Autobody shop this time around, and I have a few more spots open so feel free to email or dm me if you’re interested in snagging one of those.
As for other tattoo travel, I’m thinking of doing a Philly trip sometime, tbd (maybe late summer, September?) and maaaybe a Providence stint in August if it aligns - reach out if you’d like to be notified of future dates as my plans solidify!
Other than that, I’m excited to be mostly staying put in Baltimore this summer- my books at Fruit Camp are wide open, and I’m looking forward to spending time at the Baltimore jewelry center, gardening, and trying to go swimming as much as possible.
(realizing this is the first thing I’ve sent through here since moving back to Baltimore in November! if you didn’t know now you know!!)

In other news, I recently returned from a two-week trip to the UK/europe, it was a total whirlwind and I can’t believe it’s over, yet also feeling happy to be back home. The seed of the trip was to attend my british cousin’s weddings in Suffolk, on the beautiful, cold and rocky coast, which was loads of fun and ended in some late night fish and chips. We stretched out the visit to Glasgow, London, and Berlin as well. Saw so much art, many friends old and new, amazing land-and-city-scapes. Deeply heartwarming and inspiring to say the least.

Feeling refreshed, if still a little jet lagged, thinking about my routines as I settle back into them, and this little newsletter container which I mostly forget to use.
I think I’ve neglected to use this space because I build it up in my mind as having to really “write” something for it, but I’m hoping to reframe this format as a more casual place for myself to share works in progress, booking + market updates, and some non-work things from everyday life.
~
recently listening to~ Somewhere Good by Tara Clerkin Trio (trance mode while making a trellis for cucumbers) & Jacq Jill on OK Williams NTS show (locked in while organizing my studio and filing cabinet lol)
recently watched Magnolia on the plane ride home, it was really good and i keep thinking about little snips of it, tiny subtle moments with big impact (also kind of reminded me of The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers, on the brain bc I finished it last month) *note to self to rewatch not on crappy airplane headphones next time for the full Aimee Mann effect.
~
Hope the early summertime is treating you well, thanks for being here,
Kilynne
